I won’t go into details, but let me just tell you that last night was the absolutely worst night we have had as a family health-wise. For that I should feel grateful since we haven’t spent extended time in hospitals, etc. but last night was NO fun.
I got it first- and I thought it would be a stomach bug with just a few trips to the potty. But then before bed, it started coming *up* on me. And I hate seeing my food come up after having enjoyed it going down. I am one of those people that will do whatever I can to not vomit. But I had no control last night.
Then I fall asleep. We wake up at 1am to TheOldest screaming. She had “spit up” in her bed. And then all over LushMan while he was carrying her to the bathroom. And then I decided to have another turn. Out of both ends, if you know what I mean. LushMan changed her bed (I think twice) and got her back to sleep because I could barely move. An hour later, lather, rinse and repeat. This time she came into our bed because we were out of sheets. LushMan did get a trashcan for her to use if needed and it was.
A few hours later, we hear another cry and scream for us. Yup, TheMiddleChild just couldn’t let herself be left out. She’s settled in our bed with a bucket and I went to the guest room after making a few deposits of my own in a bucket toilet.
The girls were much better when they woke up this morning. I, on the other hand, slept until 11am. 5 hours later and I’m still a little queasy.
Poor LushMan though, he did not sleep at all last night. And he’s been on laundry duty, diaper duty, food and beverage duty and any other duty I’m not doing.
What a guy.
And maybe I did go into details. I hope your stomach took it better than mine.

I hope LushMan doesn’t get it too!! It’s horrible when more than one person gets it…especially when it’s mommy. We have had that happen here too….it’s violent but usually short lived. Hang in there!!

I am sorry you aren’t feeling well! Sounds like it could have even been some sort of food poisoning. Hope you all feel better soon.

Oh goodness! I hope that stays in an entirely different state than me. My husband is immune compromised and everytime I hear these stories I want to go sanitize him so he doesn’t catch what-ever-it-is.
I hope you all are feeling better oh so quickly.
